A regional physician network came to iMobdev sitting on a problem every clinic quietly has: a constant stream of cancelled and rescheduled appointment slots that simply evaporated instead of going to the next waiting patient. The pain points were concrete. There was no live view of open appointment seats across specialties, locations, and doctors, so patients calling in were routinely told "nothing available" when a slot had just opened. There was no self-service way for patients to browse by specialty, location, or physician and grab an opening the moment it appeared, and front-desk staff had no single system to manage referrals and cancellations without juggling multiple phone lines.

Every unfilled seat was a direct hit to clinic revenue and a missed visit for a patient who needed care sooner. Specialties with high demand, like cardiology and dermatology, were losing the most, since their cancellations were the hardest to refill on short notice.

Technically, the network needed something patients could adopt immediately, without new hardware or a steep learning curve, while still connecting cleanly to each clinic's existing scheduling and physician-directory data.

STATseat gave the physician network a live, self-service channel for filling appointment seats that used to go to waste, cutting the time between a cancellation and a rebooking from hours of phone tag to minutes. Front-desk staff gained a single source of truth for open seats across every specialty and location, and patients gained the ability to grab a same-day opening the moment it appeared.

The network has since used STATseat's booking data to identify which specialties need more capacity, turning what was once invisible churn into a planning tool. iMobdev continues to support STATseat as the network adds new specialties and clinic locations.
