Fluxframe

Fluxframe came to iMobdev with a strong creative vision and a waitlist landing page — but no working product. The founders had spent months testing open-source diffusion models on their laptops and knew exactly what a great result looked like, yet had no mobile app, no unified pipeline, and no way to turn a scrappy demo into something a casual phone user could open and trust in ten seconds.

The pain points were specific. There was no unified generation pipeline stitching together text-to-image, upscaling, background removal, and inpainting behind a single, coherent interface — each capability lived in a different research notebook. Generation requests through raw open-source checkpoints took 60 to 90 seconds with wildly inconsistent output quality, which is a poor fit for a mobile audience used to instant feedback. And because most first-time users don't know how to "prompt" well, the app needed to produce a polished result from a lazy, five-word input, not just a perfect one from an expert-crafted paragraph.

Every week without a shippable app was a week of competitors capturing the "AI art on your phone" moment first, and Fluxframe's seed investors were asking for usage numbers, not architecture diagrams. The team needed a real product in the App Store to keep the funding conversation moving.

Technically, the constraint was cost as much as speed: GPU inference is expensive per image, so the app had to feel generous and fast without generating in a way that burned through compute budget on every idle tap.

Fluxframe launched with a complete, mobile-native creative loop — type an idea, get a grid of polished results in seconds, refine the one you love, and come back to a growing personal gallery. The prompt-enhancement layer turned Fluxframe's biggest risk, inexperienced users writing weak prompts, into one of its strongest differentiators against competitors that expect users to already know how to prompt well.

The phased rollout gave Fluxframe's founders a live product to show investors and press well ahead of the original timeline, and the credit-based generation model gives the business a clear, tunable path to monetization. iMobdev continues to work with Fluxframe as new style presets and editing tools are added to the app.
